Great documentary. Donna makes an appearance or two.

Thanks for the link - will check it out.

Don't know if you've ever seen this one, but it seems you might like it: Respect Yourself: The Stax Records Story.

Amazing interviews, stories, and live music of Otis, Sam and Dave, Isaac Hayes, Staple Singers, Booker T and the MGs.

I've seen it on cable recently but the following links seem to have most of it. The first one you have to wade through a listing to find pieces by corporalhenshaw.

If I'm not mistaken, Muscle Shoals took off because it was so close to Memphis but it was a non-union town. Some of "Sticky Fingers" was recorded there.

I've heard of the video but I have not seen it---yet!

Enjoy,

Really want to see - and I've recently enjoyed some other films from/through Magnolia Pictures, like Good Ol' Freda, Magic Trip, and Gonzo: The Life & Times of Hunter S. Thompson.
